Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Report: Radium, British Columbia, Particulate Matter 1998-2007.
July 2008
This report was prepared by the Ministry of Environment to inform the public, local government and industry about air quality in the Radium airshed based on particulate
matter (PM) data collected between 1998 to 2007. It is intended to provide insight on how to effectively manage the local air quality conditions of Radium. For the most part, the
data shows that Radium’s PM levels are well below those of other communities in British
Columbia, but an increase in PM levels was observed between 2005 and 2006.
